ParticipantHi, I have the Events Calendar Pro installed here: http://www.ripleyrascals.org.uk – the product registration key has been entered and is valid but I’m still getting this error message:
The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 4.2.6. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Learn More.
Could you tell me why this is/what else I need to do?
Many thanks.
Kathryn

MemberGood evening Kathryn and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the message still creeping up on your website after entering the registration key. I would love to help you with this topic.
Could you tell me why this is/what else I need to do?
You are almost there. Once the license key is entered, you simply need to update the Events Calendar Pro plugin.
You should be able to do that from the WordPress admin Plugins menu.
If that does not work out, you can simply:
- Deactivate and delete the Events Calendar Pro plugin
- Head over to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
- Grab the latest version of the Events Calendar Pro plugin and download it
- You should now be able to install it from the WordPress admin Plugins menu.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHello, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately no it’s not showing an update in the plugins menu as an option. If I deactivate and delete the plugin won’t that delete all the data associated with it?
Thanks.

MemberGood evening Kathryn,
Since the first solution did not work for you, we will most likely need to use my second suggestion.
If I deactivate and delete the plugin won’t that delete all the data associated with it?
The data should not be impacted by the deletion and deactivation of the plugin.
That being said, it is good practice to do a database backup (for safety purposes) any time you perform such an operation.
Let me know how that goes.
