ParticipantHi all!
The original problem was that events were imported multiple times for the same event, presumably once for every edit of the original even on FaceBook. One answer on this forum was to upgrade the plugin and the addon to their latest version, which I did for the plugin. After that, I started getting this notification in the admin panel: “Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.”. When I click the “update now” link, however, I get this: “The plugin is at the latest version.”, with the previous message still showing on top of it
Yes, I’ve disabled all the plugins, apart from the Events Calendar (not PRO), and the Facebook Events addon.
Yes, I reverted to Twenty Ten 1.3 (which is the default theme for my version of WordPress.
Yes, I admit that 3.2 is not up to date, but I have tons of plugins installed, and the upgrade will break them.Any advice please?

ParticipantHi antonatangka,
So which plugins of ours are you running and what versions are they? Please provide a list here so I know what we’re working with.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi,
I’m running The Events Calendar v 2.0.10 with the Facebook Events addon v 1.0.4.

ParticipantHi antonatangka,
The latest version of The Events Calendar is 2.0.11. I’m not sure why it’s not auto updating for you. I suggest manually updating.

ParticipantJonah,
Is a manual update going to remove/change something in the existing setup?February 6, 2013 at 3:51 pm #32256antonatangka
ParticipantAlso, do I need to remove the plugin directory, or I can just overwrite? Thanks.

ParticipantNo it shouldn’t remove/change anything and no, you don’t need to remove the plugin directory. Just overwrite it.

ParticipantHi. So, a few weeks down the line it’s still doing the same thing: importing events multiple times. Any ideas?

ParticipantHi antonatangka,
What version of the Facebook Import plugin are you running? Please try updating to 1.0.5, manually if need be to see if this helps.

ParticipantSorry, forgot to mention that I updated The Events Calendar to 2.0.11, and Facebook Events to 1.0.4. Will update to 1.0.5 now.
