GuestHi,
First we are planning a travel website, that will have a cultural days in general and related events to this cultural or holiday, do you have any option to frame it like this ( let say you choose Thanksgiving, you can read a description, and then break down all the events that related to this holiday and under you condition- category, area….
Second, do you have any integration with Mailchimp, that my subscribers can get a monthly newsletter with upcoming events under their preferences (location, categories…)
Third, can I get some more fancy examples that related to travel and tourism or in general fit to what I described?
Best,

ModeratorHello 🙂
Welcome to our Pre-Sales Questions channel and thank you for reaching out. I would be happy to help answer your questions.

I believe you answered your own question! You could definitely use categories and/or tags to break down relative events. Our Filter Bar plugin allows users to easily filter events. You can see it in action on our demo site.

We don’t have any official integration with MailChimp, but I’ll paste below the response provided to a similar request made over on our UserVoice Feature Ideas suggestion page:
This feature is already nicely handled by the third party paid addon: Event Calendar Newsletter Pro. It can directly send out email campaigns showcasing upcoming events, or be integrated into a recurring MailChimp one using MailChimp’s RSS campaigns. A great solution all-in-all.
And to answer your last question, I can’t think of any sites relating to travel and tourism off the top of my head, but we have tons of examples on our Showcase page.
Please let me know if I’ve sufficiently addressed your questions and feel free to reply back with any more questions you might have. Thanks again and take care!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
