upcoming events Widget not showing all of today’s events

I need the widget to display all of todays events regardless of start time.

I have events at 7 or 8 am.
events at 10 am
and events later in the evening.

the upcoming events widget does not show my morning events the morning of the the event.
it seems to treat upcomming as meaning 6-8 hours from now.
instead of now + forward.
IT shere a way to fix this?
I would like it to show all upcomming evnets like it does vbut alos include any event that day up until the event actually starts.
example:
today:
it is currently 7 am.
I want it to show me there is an event at 8am
10 am. and 6 pm.
instead of how it is now, which is just showing me the 6pm one for today.
