Upcoming events by course name

We intend to have a course catalog with pages describing each class. Each upcoming class will have the same name (e.g. CPR). At the bottom of that catalog page, I want to add the [tribe_events] and filter a list view so that only upcoming courses matching “CPR” in the name are displayed.

Is this how the [tribe_events] shortcode works in the pro version?

Hi Greg!

With the Events Calendar Pro, you can use shortcodes to display events in various configurations, such as “list view” as you described. You can also choose to show only events of a certain tag or category, so If you tagged them with “CPR” you can target that in the shortcode. So I cannot use a “title” argument in that shortcode, to limit the events returned by title (assuming correctly formatted titles)?

No, unfortunately that is not a feature. In most cases posts would have a unique name, so this is not something that would likely be useful to many users.
