ParticipantI have the next upcoming events displaying beneath the calendar on my events page but I need to be able to change the background image for that. Can’t see a setting for this anywhere. Help!

MemberHi, Rich.
This doesn’t sound like an option or setting from our plugins, but if you provide a link to your site and an annotated screenshot or helpful written description of exactly what you’re wanting and provide me the URL of the background image you’re wanting to use, I might be able to provide you a quick CSS suggestion.

ParticipantHi Cliff
Thanks for taking the time to reply. The theme I’m using is OldStory – you can find details below, as well as the supporting documentation I’ve been poring through!
Theme: https://themeforest.net/item/oldstory-whisky-bar-pub-restaurant-wp-theme/15218043
Docs: http://oldstory.ancorathemes.com/doc/The page in question is http://www.devittspub.ie/events/
You can see 3 upcoming events, located below the main calendar for this month. There’s a default theme background image there showing a stag’s head – that’s the background image I want to change, but so far it just doesn’t seem editable.
You’ll also see from the screenshot I’ve attached that some HTML has been automatically inserted after the events content – I assumed this was your plugin doing that; I guess not :o\
FYI, the code there is as follows:
[vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content_no_spaces"][vc_column][trx_section bg_image="1278" bg_tile=""][trx_content][trx_title type="6" align="center" class="margin_top_larges" bottom="tiny"]get involved![/trx_title][trx_title align="center" color="#ffffff" top="null" bottom="large"]upcoming events[/trx_title][trx_events style="events-2" cat="0" columns="3" count="3" readmore="details" class="margin_bottom_larges" css="max-width: 770px;"][/trx_content][/trx_section][/vc_column][/vc_row]Thanks so much in advance for anything you can help with!

MemberThat div.sc_section has http://www.devittspub.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/dark_animal.jpg as the background-image via inline styling: https://cl.ly/3Q2V12051J1z
Since that same image is in use in the Upcoming Events of your theme’s demo site, I’d guess the image got uploaded to your /wp-content/uploads/2016/02/ folder at the time you initially activated the theme and that this is hard-coded into this Visual Composer section via the theme.
You should contact your theme support to ask if there is an option available to you to change this image.
It’s possible to override this via CSS yourself, but then you’d still be loading both images, which isn’t ideal for your page size or load time.
Please let me know what your theme support shares with you.
(By the way, the theme looks nice!)
