ParticipantI bought Events Calendar Pro to use with the Eventica theme (WordPress).
See http://cincydancealliance.org/
Things used to be ordered correctly, but I don’t know if that’s because we were entering dates chronologically.
Lately, both the sliders at the top of page that feature upcoming events and the upcoming events (scroll down a little) have been out of order. It was not in order of creation, either, and funny enough, they now do not even match or have the same order.
Slider: An event on January 17 is being shown before its iterations on January 15 and 16. The rest that are showing appear to be in order.
Upcoming events: I had to manually fix this by reordering the events’ post order in a plugin called “Re-Order.” However, before doing that, it was interrupting December events with January and May events. Each month was in order, but the months were out of order. In addition, someone else added a million repeating events and they showed up before EVERYTHING else, no matter what dates they were.
I am at my wit’s end and this being a community site, I cannot go and reorder the posts manually every time.
PLEASE HELP.

ParticipantUgh fixed it. Saw your note about disabling plugins and it was that re-order plugin to begin with!
SO SORRY.

ParticipantHowdy Pixel,
No need to apologize. I am just happy you were able to find the conflicting plugin, sometimes that can be a pain.
Just to be clear, is everything working how you need now? If sounds like you are happy with leaving the Reorder plugin disabled. Is there anything I can still help you with?
Cheers!

ParticipantThat is fine – but random other question – how can I add a category link filter at the top of calendar listings? (The kind you see often in portfolios.) Thank you!

ParticipantGood good.

That is probably the free community built plugin The Events Calendar Category Colors. If you download it to your site and walk through the install steps, you will get that lovely list. Based on those screenshots is that what you’re thinking of?
Cheers!
