GuestIs there a way to get an unlimited update for Pro? So the free one gets automatic updates through WordPress, and I’m happy to pay for the license, but when I make sites for clients, I can’t handle renewing a bunch of plugin subscriptions every year. The only feature I really need for them on Pro is recurring events. Like I said, I’m happy to pay, but is there a way to do it without renewing every year, even if it costs more?

MemberGood evening Jo and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Is there a way to get an unlimited update for Pro?
The short answer is almost.
We do offer an unlimited license: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
This will give you an unlimited number of websites, which in turn means you can input a single license key on all of your clients websites, which in turn gives you access to automatic updates.
The only kicker is that you will have to renew that unlimited license once a year (which is better than renewing a bunch of plugin subscriptions every year).
That being said, you do bring an interesting idea on the table: offering the option to automatically renew your subscription or being able to purchase a license for several years in advance.
I will run these ideas by our Product strategy team and get back to you with my findings.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Jo,
As promised, I followed up on this.
Great news! There is indeed a plan in the works to allow our customers to auto-renew their licenses should they want to.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.
But stay tuned, it should not be too long!Best regards,
Geoff B.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
