GuestI will be using WooTickets to register people for our online courses and need to know if a customer/registrant is issued a unique identifier (other than their email) when they create an account and make a purchase. When I export a .csv file from WooTickets and import into our LMS (Canvas), will I be able to export this unique identifier to use as their SIS ID in our LMS? Thank you!

MemberHi Jenna,
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our products! Interesting question here…
When a user purchase a tickets a unique security code is made for that ticket, but there’s no unique identifier for users (sample attendees report https://cloudup.com/c4vY6MC3chP). If you force them to register to checkout (that’s configurable in WooCommerce) then they’ll be registered as WordPress users and then they will have a unique user ID. Seems there are various plugins to export user data to csv (https://wordpress.org/plugins/users-to-csv/) if you decide to make them register on the site…
Please let me know if this answers your question and of course if you still have any doubts about the plugin,

GuestHi Nico –
Thank you so much for your help.
When you say that “they will have a unique user ID” in WordPress – do you know if this is something other than their email address? I would need a unique user ID other than their email.Thank you so much!

MemberHey Jenna,
Thanks for following up! If the users have to create an account on the site, they will be assigned an unique id in the database.
You can see the assigned user ID in the URL when you edit the user (https://cloudup.com/c_bqtBg-4UD), also if you export a list of them it will be present. You can also try out this plugin, to see if the ID gets included in the CSV export.
Please let me know if that works for you,
