Unending Recurring Event

I want to create a recurring event with no end. Right now, I set it to 10,000 recurrences but it shows up in the event description and looks weird. Is there a way to just have a recurrence with no end date? How it displays now: Every week on Wednesday, recurring 10000 times (See all)

Hey there Nicole. Thanks for reaching out, and for your purchase of the Events Calendar PRO plugin. At this point the recurrence options do not account for endless recurrence patterns – since it needs to create a separate entry for each instance of the recurrence, WordPress would not be able to handle the attempt.

We have had a few requests for such functionality, though, so I suspect it’ll be added to the code at some point if we can make it work. Might be wise to add a note in the “Feature Requests” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/), as that’s what we’re using to help determine the order of feature additions down the road.

Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here in the short-term. Please let me know if I can do anything else or if you have any other questions on this.
