Unable to change background color for far left column in week view

Searching the forum for “changing the colors in Events Pro calendar,” I ran across a video that Brook had posted, leading me to the browser inspector tool in Chrome. This was new to me and I’m really excited about using it. I was able to implement all of my custom colors except for one; the far left column in week view. It is currently white, which looks unsightly against my black background and also makes my gold font very hard to see:

When using the browser inspector tool, I was unable to locate the background color for this column. The real issue, I think, was that I was unable to select the column at all. It seemed that I’m only able to select rows, rather than columns, in this table.

Is a question such as this beyond the scope of tech support on this forum? And if so, could someone possible offer a solution simply on the basis of me being a nice guy?

I see shat you mean! Try adding this to your theme’s style.css file:

.tribe-week-grid-hours, .tribe-week-today {
background-color: #000000;
}

That should make the far left columns black, but you can change “#000000” to any color you’d like. You may need to fiddle around with it a bit, but hopefully it gets you started in the right direction. 🙂
