Ultimate Member and Submitting Events

I have Ultimate Member setup so that only users can access the calendar. I’d like to know who submits an event so that if there is a question about it, I have a way to ask. I don’t want them to have to create a Ultimate Member login and a WordPress login. Is there a way to do this? At least a way for them to enter their email address when submitting?

Let me start by saying that although I’m not much familiarized with ‘Ultimate Member’ plugin, the most common thing in this kind of plugins is that they work extending WordPress Users functionality. This means that most probably if you log into the site using ‘Ultimate Member’ plugin login form, they will be recognized as logged in users along the site. If this happens then the user submitting the event will be the author of said event. Does this makes sense to you?

Does this means the issue is resolved? If they are working with the same auth / log-in forms then it should be compatible out of the box.
