TypeError: a.parseHTML is not a function

HI There,
I am using (the events calendar) plugin and (the events calendar filter bar) for filtering the events list, when i search for an event it gives error in the console (TypeError: a.parseHTML is not a function in the file the-events-calendar\src\resources\js\tribe-events-ajax-list.min.js)

I searched on google but didn’t find any help.

Any help would be appreciated.

My issue is resolved, the theme was using the older version of jQuery, i updated the jQuery version from 1.7.2 to 1.8.1 and it worked.
