    Hi TEC,

    When users get a ticket on my site, why does it sometimes show up in the attendees list as two tickets?

    I have attached an image, basically, but what happens is that above each ticket on this list was another ticket (as you can see on the first ticket), with the same name, however there was no ‘View Details’ link – however this purcahser only purchased one ticket.

    Why does 2 tickets show?

    Please help.

    Hello Kam,

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about this issue with the seemingly double tickets. Let me help you with this one.

    It looks like you are collecting attendee data with the tickets. When there is no ‘View Details’ it means no attendee data has been entered. If you have it set to required, then the only way this can happen is if someone puts one ticket in the cart (attendee data included) and then on the cart page increases the number of tickets. On the cart page the attendee meta is not collected.

    One and the currently recommended way to go around this is to disable the quantity selector on the cart page.

    We have a snippet for that ready for WooCommerce, however I see you are using EDD. I’m not quite sure how to do it with EDD. Here’s the snippet though, it might help you get started.

    ps: I see in your sysinfo that you are using mismatching versions of The Events Calendar & Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus. It is highly recommended to use same versions of all, as mismatching version can produce unwanted glitches and bugs. If you get a chance, please update all your Modern Tribe plugins to the latest versions. Thanks!
