Two-day event display

Hi, my client loved the events calendar. There is an issue, though, for 2-day events (pretty much all events are 2-day). The client wants the display of date and time to be:
August 11-12, 8am-5pm

I might be able to convince them to do:
August 11 @ 8am-5pm
August 12 @ 8am-5pm

What do I need to do?

You can check out all of the Datepicker options under Events Settings < Display to see what is available.
