Is there a way to turn off the feature where events post to my blog? Reason being is because currently it looks funny in my blog, showing future post dates (which are actually the dates of the events). For now, I would like to NOT have the events be posted in my blog (. Thank you.

    Howdy angelakienholz,

Good question. We actually have an option to disable this. If you go into your WP Admin area, click on Events, then click on Settings. Scroll about half way down the page until you see “Include events in main blog loop”. Uncheck this, and then scroll down and click save. That should fix things up nicely for you.

If that did not work, I think your theme might be including all post_types in it’s post loop. In plain english that means it is using a very weird way to display your blog posts, and is probably incompatible with numerous plugins, ours included. To test this please try leaving the option from the first paragraph unchecked, and then enabling the 2013 theme that came with your WordPress installation. Now visit your blog page and see if things are fixed.

Does that all make sense? Did that fix it for you? Please let me know. Cheers!

Thanks, I thought I had recalled some type of setting but I must have overlooked it. I found it now. Cheers!

No problem at all. I am glad that worked!

By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you couldĀ write a few words about the plugin here. Happy developing!
