Turn off author box

I am trying to turn off the author box in my event posts, but I cannot seem to find a way to do that using Events Calendar Pro. It seems to be overriding my author box settings (under user setup) for the event author. Any suggestions?

Hi, cbriese. Thanks for getting in touch about your issue.

The author box that you’re seeing is not a part of The Events Calendar, so it’s unlikely you’ll find a way to turn it off in our settings. From the looks of it, your theme may be adding that data to custom post types (which is what the events are).

We know that some Genesis users have issues with integration. Have you had a chance to test with default Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen? If so, did you see the same behavior there?
