Trouble Finding the License Key Section to Update to Pro

Hi there. I have my new license key number but I can’t find anywhere on my current Events settings on where to actually use this number. I want to update my Events Calendar to the Pro version. I don’t see where I can manually update the version of my plugin either (per another forum q/a that I read). Please help! The Events settings Header I am given only lists General, Display and Help. Thanks for your help!

Hey Joni,

Sorry you’ve run into frustration here – are you trying to update to Pro from within your WordPress site’s admin area?

If so, this is unfortunately not possible, and you’d need to go to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/, download a .zip of Events Calendar PRO, and manually upload that .zip file to your site as a plugin. Then, you can “Activate” this in your admin area, and then finally you should notice more tabs in the Events Settings, including a location to add your license.

You will need the original core plugin and PRO both active on your site.
