ParticipantHi,
I found that my shortcode does not display properly in some cases:
[tribe_events view=”map” category=”mycategoryname” tribe-bar=”false”]
It does not display the events for the category on a published post. No event markers are shown and the map is not zoomed in to the correct region.
However, it does show the correct map with markers and the correct zoom level if I use the shortcut on a page.
It also works correctly if I look at the post using the preview-function in WordPress. Is there a way to get the map to show properly in posts using the shortcode?
A second thing I noticed is that the map is always shown at the top of the post, even when I add the shortcode at the bottom or in between the body of the post.
Is it possible to display the map where I place the shortcode in the post contents?
Kind regards,
Peter

MemberHi, Peter.
The second issue you described is a confirmed issue with Divi theme.
I haven’t heard of the first issue, but because that other issue exists, I’d recommend testing this out with the Twenty Seventeen theme.
Please let me know what you find out.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I had tried the twenty-seventeen theme as well and found the same issue.
However, for some reason, it seems to work now and I was able to use the map view in a published post.
Not sure why, but for now this part of the question can be closed. Is the second issue something for which a fix is in the making?
Kind regards,
Peter

ParticipantHi Cliff,
The second issue is about the Divi-related issue with the placement of the map view within the post.
You mentioned it is a confirmed issue with the divi-theme, but not if there’s a solution in the making for it.Thanks!
Kind regards,
Peter
