Hi,
after installing the new version I discovered some translation issues in the event submission form in the categories and the tags field.
Please have a look at the screenshots:
I guess they are self explaining – it’s a nice mixture of English and German or only English 😉Can you please open a bug fix ticket for that?
Best regards,

Thanks for reporting this. I’ll open a ticket for this right away.

August 31, 2017 at 1:38 pm #1343349AndrasKeymasterHallo Oliver,
I know. 🙁
These strings are located in javascript files, which is a bit more difficult to get translated. Our devs haven’t gotten to do that yet.
The obvious workaround is changing it in the core files, with its usual consequences. That string can be found here:
\the-events-calendar\common\vendor\select2\select2.js (line 3509)
\the-events-calendar\common\vendor\select2\select2.min.js(Usually the “min” file is called.)
This thread will receive an update once this has been fixed proper.
Cheers,

I will wait until it’s updated, no big issue from my point of view ..

November 20, 2017 at 1:18 pm #1387501CourtneyMemberWe released an update for this issue. Can you update your plugins (preferrably on a staging site) and see if that resolves the issue.

November 21, 2017 at 3:10 pm #1388641OliverParticipantHi Andras,
sometime I think I live in another matrix:
I installed the latest version of the TEC plugin yesterday on our test system and retested the issue. Today I looked in the test system and there was another NEW version of the plugin!
After installing this latest version the translation works! Thanks a lot for fixing it! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Best regards,
OliverNovember 22, 2017 at 1:38 am #1388806AndrasKeymasterAwesome! 🙂
We have just pushed out a new version yesterday, so that could have helped, although for me it was working with the previous one as well.
Oh well… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
