    Hi everybody,
    1) when I use the search bar, location,… I got a bad translation error, so that I deactivated the bar. I tried to find the string in the .mo/.po file (german) but couldn’t find the wrong strings “Nahe”, “Search”, “Veranstaltunngen”. could you say where to edit this?

    2) text is formatting “italic” why?

    THANKS,
    Renate

    On 1, you’ll need to use a program (we recommend PoEdit) to find them likely since the words might be generated dynamically. You might find this useful:

    On 2, just add a
    .placeholder {
    font-style: normal !important;
    }
    to your theme’s css file

    Hi,
    thanks for your quick response. Almost all fixed. The string was in the free version, tricky to find. What I couldn’t find in both files was the “Search” String. Where can I change the text beneath the strings? This is still english, as well as the week-view:

    thanks again for your help

    Hi Renate,

    Thanks for working on this. I checked the 3.2 the-events-calendar.pot file and I found the Search string in line 1582. The issue with the Week View you mentioned is actually a bug. It’s being fixed for the next maintenance release.

    If you’d like to work on some translations, please head over to our Translations forum and read the Getting Started post.

    Cheers,
    Leah
