Translate nav.php

Hi, I would like to change translated words used bye nav.php I’ve a customised file in my theme’s tribe-events > list folder. It’s about this line <?php printf( '<span>&laquo;</span> ' . esc_html__( 'Previous %s', 'the-events-calendar' ), $events_label_plural ); ?>
%s print “Events”. I want my page to to print “Dates” in french but “Événements”. I’ve edited the the-events-calendar-fr_FR.mo located in the-event-calendar > lang directory, then export and replace the-events-calendar-fr_FR.po but nothing changes. I’ve done the same with the files located in the-event-calendar > common > lang directory and again, the words remain the same.
What do I wrong ?

Normalement, modifier le fichier de langue devrait suffire. Mais, si jamais il existe une copie de ce fichier de langue sous /wp-content/languages/ , ce fichier aura priorité et celui sous the-event-calendar > lang n’aura aucun impact.

Par ailleurs, vous pourriez utiliser le bout de code suivant pour modifier chaque instance du mot “Événements” par “Dates”: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

Si jamais rien de tout ça ne fonctionne, vous serait-il possible de me faire parvenir une copie de votre thème (avec ses modifications) via une réponse privée (lien à un fichier .zip sur Dropbox ou Google Drive) ? Cela me permettrait de faire quelques tests.
