Thanks for emailing support. Unfortunately, its not included with the plugins. Tracking links would be done by adding Google analytics or some other analytics tracking to your WordPress site.
So if via the events pro /ticket pro plugin – can we tweak the back end to have hidden fields with utm tracking? or via Google tag manager or finally, via utm tracking that goes into a 3rd party?
It’s quite important to be able to track the bookings, so be good to get more info on this
Therefore, any Google Analytics integration would be installed at a site-wide level (such as via https://jetpack.com/features/traffic/google-analytics/) and you’d setup GA to track URLs like “example.com/event/bobs-comedy-routine/” and you could add any action-based GA events via one of the many hooks we offer.
To be clear, because you run your own site, there are a lot of ways to customize things, whether via UTM or other methods.
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
