    Hello nysci,

Thanks for contacting us. There is a javascript conflict with your theme or one of your plugins. More than likely your theme, because of the nature of the error (it can’t find the right html element)

In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

Hello nysci, thanks for the info!

I see you are using a custom ‘NYSCI’ theme. When you submitted this post, you checked that the theme was causing the conflict by switching to a theme like Twentytwelve.

Can I get you to confirm you switched to Twentytwelve temporarily and this feature works fine?

    Thanks!

But this plugin plugin was working with same theme before updating plugin.

Sorry, this may seem tedious, but it is the best way to know where the conflict exists.

If your plugin was working before update , so it means conflict is coming due to update in your plugin. Theme is same as it was before.

Also as you shown in above screen shot it is saying that conflict is in tribe-events.min.js

I was confused by this as well, so I had to check in with the devs.

Do you have custom (event) templates? If you do, try renaming {theme}/tribe-events to {theme}/x-events and see if tooltips work again.

If the tooltips work after changing the name of the template, it means you custom template will probably need an update, and we might be able to help you with that.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hi,
I have replicated my website at http://nysci.org/dev
So as you said I tried by renaming {theme}/tribe-events to {theme}/tribe-xxx
and tooltips are still not working .
You can see at http://nysci.org/dev/events/ . Here on this page tooltips are not working.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Please ignore above comment.
I tried your method of renaming the tribe-event folder in theme and it works!!!
Could you please help me out with those custom theme-folder ?
Currently at http://nysci.org/dev/events/ tribe-events folder is renamed.
    Thanks

    Hello nysci,

If you post your template override to a site like http://pastie.org, I might be able to tell you what to update.

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!
