I thought I had an good idea. In the PRO version there is many languages, but not Norwegian. There are Danish, which is very close and I can use most of the lines.

I have read that extensions that has a language file with the same as the native WP, then the extension will adopt that language. Other it will give English.
So I thought I came up with a smart solution.
1.) Copied the Danish .po and .mo
2.) Renamed it to the Norwegian language style; -nb-NO
3.) Put the “norwegian” files into the correct folder (lang)

Restarted WP and hoped that WP should find the same language that my WP. But NOT

Do I really have to make complete new language file in Norwegian?

Sorry fellows. It worked fine. It took some time for the update was implemented. And when I looked at the Danish translation it was not complete, so I will do that manually and use Loco Translation Manager, which I find useful.
