ParticipantHi There
I purchased WooTickets on March 3rd but have only just got round to installing it due to some issues i had.
I am using Avada WordPress theme which comes with customised WooCommerce files to match the look and feel of the site. After purchasing WooTickets i saw that it recommended upgrading to the latest version of WooCommerce so i upgraded from WooCommerce 2.0.20 to 2.1.5 which was a huge mistake as Avada have not released an updated version of the theme and so all the WooCommerce files were outdated and it broke the whole shop.
Since then i have had to resort back to WooCommerce 2.0.20 and the last Avada release to get my shop back online (Which i finally fixed last night) so i have come to install WooTickets and now it wont let me use WooTickets because i am using an older version of WooCommerce!!
I seem to be stuck in a vicious cycle and i have a $65 plugin which i cannot use. Can you please advise me on my options, if i am unable to get it working i would like a refund as i am unable to use the product.
Thanks for your time and i look forward to hearing from you.
Regards

ParticipantHi There
So i installed the previous version and the plugin is now working with WooCommerce 2.0.20. However when the customer receives the tickets in the email there is missing information e.g. Security code, ticket type and venue information on some tickets
For example if two tickets are bought together the first ticket in the email has all the correct information but the second ticket in the email is missing the security code, ticket type and venue information.
Hope you can help.

Participantpittsy2004,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Our policy is that users should always be running the latest version of any required plugin in order for our add-ons to work properly. With that being said, I did realize that we weren’t communicating that clearly on the WooTickets product page, so we’ve updated the page to reflect the required version of WooCommerce to prevent any confusion in the future.Unfortunately, we are also unable to provide support for older versions of WooTickets, since some of the issues you’re describing have most likely been fixed in the latest version.
I would encourage you to reach out to the developer of your theme to see if they can update the theme compatibility to work with WooCommerce 2.1. If that’s not a possibility, and you still can’t get things to work properly, just let us know and we’ll see how we can help.
Thanks! π
