    Hey all.

    Having issues with the most recent release of the Event Calendar Plugin and the PRO version.

    This is all happening on a fresh install.

    Getting the error message “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.” even though both are the latest versions:

    EC: 4.2.1.1
    EC Pro: 4.2.2

    I’ve tried deactivating them and reactivating them but it doesn’t help. The Events Calendar Plugin works on its own but when I activate the PRO version in addition I get the error presented above.

    We are sorry to hear about the error message you have been dealing with.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Basically what is going on is that the Events Calendar and Pro need to be at matching versions to work together.

    From your current situation, you could:

    1. Update the Events Calendar to version 4.2.2 (as opposed to 4.2.1.1)
    2. Rollback Pro to version 4.2.1.1

    It looks like an update was _just_ pushed within the last couple of hours for the base Events Calendar Plugin. As of the time I posted my issue v4.2.1.1 was the latest version. An update was pushed only 3hr ago it looks like.

    All is working now.
