Timezone/ RSS Issue

Hi,

I have noticed that the times are showing incorrectly in my RSS Feed.

Here is an example of the events working fine on our site using the event list widget: http://www.busu.net/oweek/schedule/

But if you check out the same events in the feed, the times are off by four hours. http://www.busu.net/oweek/events/feed/

I did create the events in the default WordPress timezone (UTC 0), and have since changed it to the Toronto time zone. Even new events added after this change are still not showing correctly.

I read and tried the snippets from this post (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/rss-time-incorrect/) and this post (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic%2Frss-feed-time-showing-incorrectly/?source=tri.be), but neither worked. I have also tried switch between the Toronto time zone and UTC +4 with no luck either.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having with this.

There is a bug in the Events Calendar where we do not account for UTC time. We have a fix in the next release.

Those snippets should still work though in the meantime.

I checked the feed you provided and they look correct. When I visited the feed url your provided in Firefox it correctly shows me 9am as the first event.

The pub time will be 4 hours off as it is UTC 000 time there, which is 4 hours off the Eastern Timezone.
