ParticipantFollowed all the instructions provided in the other thread thus-far and just like many others, 4.0.2 unfortunately did not fix the timezone issue.
My client has a newsletter scheduled to go out in half an hour and this is adding a lot of stress onto them.
Please advise if there is a proper fix soon! Or maybe there is a code amendment we can apply for the time-being?

ParticipantHowdy Kenneth,
I am sorry this is still giving you issues. Thank you for reaching out.
We have seen a few people report that 4.0.2 did not fix it for them. I am worried our messaging was not clear enough when we said “it’s fixed”. It should be fixed for newly imported events. But there is not way to fix it for past events without you deleting them and reimporting them. Now that said, perhaps you have already tried doing this and are still seeing the issue? If not, mind walking through these steps?
When the event gets imported into the database the first time it will save with the improper time. Reimporting the event might not correct the time, which could explain why your event in January is the proper time.
I would like to have you try fully deleting a few events from the database. In order to do that we are going to need to past this snippet in your theme’s functions.php file. usually when you delete an iCal imported event it is still hidden inthe database, so that it does not get reimported when you do your next import. This snippet will cause a deleted event to be truly gone, and thus when you run your next import the events will come back.
Paste it at the top of your theme’s functions.php file you can replace your theme’s opening <?php tag with that snippet.
With that in place try deleting a few of your problem events, and then reimporting them. Do the correct times show up?
Let me know if that helps, or if those are the steps you already tried. Thanks!

ParticipantWas there supposed to a snippet in your last reply? I am not seeing anything to copy and paste.

ParticipantMy bad! Here it is:

Did you already try reimporting the deleted events? If so and that didn’t work, then I’d try the steps I outlined using that snippet.
Let me know how I can be of help. Cheers!
