ParticipantHey guys, love the work!
I have been having a problem with importing fb events, in that I get this error when importing events
The event times meant to be displayed can be found on this event page on fb:
https://www.facebook.com/evoaccess/eventsIve been getting around this by just changing the times and dates manually but this needs to be resolved!
ThanksFebruary 2, 2015 at 4:22 pm #939566Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
What is the timezone setting in WordPress?
Check in the admin of your site here:
Settings > General > Timezone
If you have it set to a UTC time, try setting it to a city in your timezone instead.
Let me know if that fixes the issue or we can go from there to troubleshoot this.
Thanks

ParticipantHey!
Changing the timezone to GMT did indeed fix the import errors and the parse error!
However the times and dates are still being imported incorrectly.Facebook event:

and on the website in event panel:

All of the events start and finish at the same local time regardless, so a blanket change of all events to say start at 8am and finish and say 6pm would be awesome, then its just the date being reported wrong.
Many thanks!February 3, 2015 at 6:51 am #939718Brian
MemberGlad that helps fix one issue.
I looked at the events you are importing and it looks like they are in different timezones. When an event is imported it is always converted to the timezone the website is set too, unfortunately, there is not a feature to import and keep the timezone the event is in.
We also, do not have a feature to bulk edit event dates and start times.
If you would like to request both these as features please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.
