Times for event are wrong, deleted event still shows up

I’m a brand-new user, and I’m having what appears to be two separate issues.

First, I entered my very first event on the wrong day, so I deleted it. It’s still showing up on the wrong day in the calendar, but the rollover gives the correct date.

On both the original post that I thought I deleted, and the new post I made to replace it, the times are displaying wrong, 5 hours late. That makes the event post as two days, which is incorrect.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? This is the only event on my calendar right now: http://70westsentinel.com/newsdesk/events/

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I can help you getting started with our plugin…

First of all, you should configure your site timezone for that go to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Timezone. Probably that wasn’t set so you were seeing in UTC instead of your local time. Does this fix the issue?

Regarding the ‘deleted’ event still showing on the site, that might be a cache issue. Seems that is not happening anymore as I can only see one event.

If I’m missing something and the suggested solution doesn’t help please send me a screenshot (by uploading to http://cloudup.com -or similar services- and sharing a link) of the event settings in the backend and a URL to see the wrong display in the front end.
