Over the last few months I’ve seen a few threads that, when helping a user, staff spoke of potential new features for the next woo tickets release. Some of which would be very useful.

I was wondering if you have timeline for the next release?

Hi there, Micah! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂

Great question. I don’t have a specific date to share, but we are definitely hard at work on some major updates to all our ticketing add-ons, including WooTickets. No guarantees here, but it could come early in the new year. Again, that’s more personal speculation than an actual timeline.

Thanks for getting back quickly with an update.

We’ve been working on customizations to the plugin. Some of which sound like they’ll be redundant with the new release. We don’t want to put to much time and effort into features that will a part of the next release (and probably done much better).

So we’re just trying to evaluate critical customizations given the timespan until the next release. At which point, we’ll be able to better evaluate what we should be spending our time on.

Thanks again for the quick response. The calendar and wootickets are amazing products, and I look forward to seeing whats next.

And, hey, if you have any great ideas you’d like to share, please post them to our UserVoice page. We check there fairly often for popular feature ideas to include in future releases. Let us know what you’d like to see, or vote on ideas from other people.
