John
ParticipantGreetings.
I’m trying to import the following feed:
http://durhamnc.gov/common/modules/iCalendar/iCalendar.aspx?catID=27&feed=calendar
Unfortunately, it’s returning the events in UTC time and not EST time.
Can someone take a look at this on your end and see if the behavior is the same?

KeymasterHello John,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
I checked your feed and imported it. I don’t know what the times should be or you are expecting, so let’s do a cross check. Here are 2 events after import.
My site timezone is set to New York at the moment.
Candle dipping for kids: Feb 4, 2017, 3pm to 4pm New York time
Holiday Cookie Decorating: Feb 6, 2017, 11pm to midnight New York time
Are these the times you are getting?
What I experienced is that the timezone of the events will be the site timezone.
Let me know and we’ll dig deeper from there.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi, Andras!
You’re seeing what I’m seeing. These are EST events.
This is what they SHOULD be:
Candle dipping for kids: Feb 4, 2017, 10am to 11am New York time
Holiday Cookie Decorating: Feb 6, 2017, 6pm to 7pm New York time
Thanks for the investigation!

KeymasterHey John,
Thanks for getting back to me on that, much appreciated!
It looks like this is a bug with the importer. I have created an internal bug-ticket for this issue and added your thread to it to give it more push. It has already been brought to the attention of our developers.
For the time being unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it, but rest assured, this will get a fix.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and reference this one. Thanks for hanging in there and cheers,

MemberHi there!
Just wanted to share with you that there’s been an update to our Event Aggregator service which includes a fix for this issue.
There’s no need to update any plugins to make this work, as it works from our side. Just use the Event Aggregator service as you’d normally do.
Please let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
