I need to get the start time to display in my calendar, much like a google calendar does, ie 6:00 p event title. Also, not sure why, but when you hover over the title, the description and time does not display.

    Hi Donna,

Can you give a more specific example of what you want? I’m not 100% sure what area you wish to customize and I don’t quite understand which part of Google Calendar you are referring to.

If you’re able to attach an annotated screenshot that would be super-duper, but if not some step-by-step instructions to lead me to a URL and the specific element you want to change would be great.

    Cheers!

I made two screen shots but can’t seem to attach them to the post. Could you let me know how to attach a screen shot. Our web site is http://www.rainbowtemple.com and the link to the calendar is http://www.rainbowtemple.com/index.php/events/category/general/month/
Where it says Adult Bible Study, I want it to display 1p adult bible Study. Where it says Sunday worship Service, I want it to say 10 sunday worship service. I’m not too particular how the time is displayed but I’d like it displayed.

The hoover over problem seems to be caused by a conflict with the theme I am using so haven’t figured out how to get around that yet.

I am most concerned now with the time displaying.

Also, even though my live site is here – http://www.rainbowtemple.com – i’m testing on a wamp server with all plugins disabled and twenty eleven theme.

OK, what we’ll need to do (to insert the times beside the titles within the calendar grid) is some template customization. I’ll try and put together some example code, what I’d recommend in the interim though is reading up on the following:

    Themer’s Guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/

    Template Overrides: https://theeventscalendar.com/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/

Hey Donna – thanks for your patience. If you’re all good with the concept of template overrides, please try changing one of the lines in events/table.php per these instructions. Thanks!
