I wish that the tri.be calendar system had some of the functionality of the time.ly calendar. Here is what I wish you would implement.
    1. Category filter (I understand something may be in the works)
    2. Tags – For those things that don’t quite fit as categories.
    3. Unique sidebars – to allow for things like different advertising with different categories. This could be done by embedding the calendar using shortcodes into a page of my choosing.
    4. Style and arrangement options that can be changed without being a coding wizard. In general things are spread apart too much and could be rearranged to avoid wasting space. Kind of like how Google Email allows you to switch to different views like compact and cozy.

I used Time.ly as well and really liked it however… it was broken, so hence Tri.be Calendar Pro.

What I really miss is the Agenda, and Posterboard view option. Tri.be is way to limited in that regard. Hoping that the Tri.be guys will add some more features to the product.

Thanks for the input guys. On Stephen’s #3, this can already be done. A couple great plugins to help with this are: http://www.woothemes.com/woosidebars/ and http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-sidebars/

On #4, we may do some things like this in the future but I haven’t heard any plans for it.

For the rest, all I can say is to wait for 3.0. I can’t tell when exactly it’s coming but hopefully in the next month or two?

    Cheers,
    Jonah
