Tickets that Don't Change Inventory

Hello,

I would like to have three classes of tickets:
1. Adults
2. Children
3. Infants

Adults and Children will affect global stock (e.g. 100 tickets in total, and a booking of this type will change that number), but I do not want infants to affect the number of tickets (i.e. after booking for 1 infant, 100 tickets will still remain).

How can I do this?

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!

What you want to do is currently not possible with the plugins out-of-the-box. You can only set the global stock for all of the tickets in an event.

This functionality might be possible with customization, however that kind of work is outside the scope of our support. I can recommend you some freelancers who are not affiliated with us, if you require that kind of work.

Thank you for your reply!

However, I think I managed to do it. I have three types of tickets: adults and children, which will count for global stock, and infants. All I had to do was to select that the Infant stock was independent, and then I had to input a number for stock (in my case, I just input the same number I had for my global stock, because anything more wouldn’t make any sense).

Please let me know if this will deliver the desired effect, or if the infant tickets will still count from the global stock.

I apologize, I misunderstood something in your previous request.

I am glad to see you were able to figure it out. Indeed, that is the right setup for the functionality you want. It should work properly that way. The adults and children will use the global stock, and the infant will be handled separately.
