Tickets & Taxes

Hi — I’m using Event Tickets Plus with Woocommerce & Events Calendar Pro. I also have physical products in WooCommerce. Sales Tax is added to the physical products when they are purchased, but the tickets are not taxed. Is there a way to set a default for only the tickets to be not taxed? (Right now, I need to create all the tickets for each event, and change them all to nontaxable by editing each ticket in Woocommerce, and there are hundreds of them to edit.) Thanks!

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

We have a hook in the ticket making process that can be used for this.

I created this snippet to add to your child theme’s functions.php:

That should change all new tickets to Tax Status None and Tax Class Zero Rate.
