ParticipantHi,
I had posted this issue together with another one already in another thread. This one: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/serious-ticket-stock-issues-even-after-update-to-4-0-3/For clarity I am reposting here about this single problem as the update to 4.0.4 has not solved this issue.
Once all tickets available to buy have been purchased the “sold out” message does not appear and purchasing an additional ticket is not only possible but also results in stock up beyond what it was set up for originally. As follows:
On this page: https://bowlscomps.com/competition/test-after-update-to-4-0-4/
- I set up a new event with a ticket “404 test ticket 1” with a stock of 5
- I buy all 5 tickets in a single transaction as a customer (using Paypal sandbox) and complete checkout
- Going back to the event page after this the stock quantity information field is now blank (when it should say “sold out”)
- I buy another ticket (which I should not be able to do as the ticket has now run out of stock)
- I’m allowed to go through checkout and pay (Paypal sandbox)
- Going back to the event page the stock quantity has now gone up to 4 out of 10 available (there was only ever 5 available and I’ve now in theory sold 6 out of 5!)
- I go into Woocommerce orders list and set the order as “completed”
- Going back to the event page the stock quantity has now gone AGAIN up to 5 out of 11 available (there was only ever 5 available and I’ve now in theory sold 6 out of 5!)
So there is still something quite fundamently wrong in the way the plugin handles out of stock / negative stock.
Please help..

ParticipantHey Hugues,
The issue is set to be addressed in the next release of the plugin. I can’t give you a set date for that release, however it should come sometime in February.
Thanks!
