Tickets Plus – Optional questions impact price

Will your system allow for a ticket custom field to modify the price? For example, if they want a t-shirt with their ticket, the selector adds to the total ticket price?

Hey James, that’s a great question!

I’m afraid that custom fields for tickets will not dynamically change the price based on what options are selected. That’s a really solid idea though and one I’m surprised hasn’t come up before in here. If you add that to our feature request forum, then that is something we can certainly look into more and see how many others would also find that useful.

It does answer my question, thank you. I think we may need to look at some sort of custom coding for this.

Thanks for following up, James! Custom development is definitely a place to start. I also wonder if something like WooCommerce’s Dynamic Pricing module might also be helpful for making that work.
