I cannot add any programs to the cart. It takes me to the cart page without adding the ticket to the cart. I’ve made sure that all wp-cache is disabled.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

I visited your site and see what you mean.

I do see this error in the console on the cart page and they maybe causing it:

    “NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://bjg.mkwy.co/cart/”

I have seen this caused by many different issues, from low php memory to servers blocking ajax, or POST

If you create a sample product that is not a ticket are you able to add it to the cart?

Also, when you go to your sites Admin and then to WooCommerce > System Status

Is there anything in the report that is red?

Let me know and we can go from there, but we are limited in supporting this if it is a WooCommerce issue and not directly related to our tickets.

    Thanks

    1. I switched the theme to storefront (unmodified) and still had the issue
    2. I created a test product (http://bjg.mkwy.co/product/test-product) and was able to add it successfully to cart.
    3. With the test product in the cart, I was then able to successfully add tickets to the cart as well. But as soon as I removed all products and tried to add tickets, it didn’t work
    4. The only error I saw on WC status page was to increase memory from 40mb to 64mb. I increased the limit and the error persists.

    Thanks for the information.

I took a look at your site again and when the cart is empty adding a ticket shows a 500 Internal Error.

When anything including another ticket is in the cart I am able to add tickets.

Can you remove all widgets, disable all plugins but WooCommerce, The Events Calender, and WooCommerce Tickets and see if that resolves the issue.

Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, due to a policy change we are no longer allowed to access anyone’s site. I have removed the account information from the thread for your protection.

I do not think accessing the site will help as it is either a server conflict or a php error causing this.

I would try two things to resolve this.

    Server Conflict
Contact your host to see if they can narrow down the 500 Network Error conflcit caused by adding tickets to an empty cart.

    Debug
Also, can you please follow the section of the WordPress Codex Debug titled “Example wp-config.php for Debugging” on this page:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

Please add that coding to your wp-config.php file.

Please try to add tickets a couple times to an empty cart and then if you can send in your next reply the information in the debug.log in the wp-content directory.

You can make that a private replies and we can go from there.

    Thanks

I contacted my host and they replied with:

Thank you for contacting HostGator. I apologize but the issue is with the woocommerce plugin. You will need to check with them for help on addressing the issue. I have created a custom php.ini for the makeway user and the sessions are created in /home/makeway/tmp without issue.
    http://develop.woothemes.com/woocommerce/

I also followed the instructions you sent to enable debugging, but when I added tickets to the cart, it didn’t generate a debug.log file. I then created an empty debug.log file, but nothing was written to it when I tried adding tickets again.

I have created a new install at http://bjg2.mkwy.co/programs thinking that it may have been something there, but am experiencing the exact same issue. And to reitterate, I can add http://bjg2.mkwy.co/shop/test-product to the cart just fine and once that test product is in the cart, tickets will appear as well (no 500 error either). But if I clear the cart and try to add a ticket by itself…doesn’t work.

    Thanks for the information.

I noticed you are running WooCommerce 2.3.7, but only 3.9 for WooCommerce Tickets.

Please update to the 3.9.2 for WooCommerce tickets and see if that helps as we have fixes in it to address this issue.

If automatic updates are not active on your site for WooCommerce Tickets because the license key is not in you can get the latest version from your account here.

Let me know if that works out.

    Thanks

Great, glad it helps, I am going to go ahead and close this ticket, but if you need help on this or something else please post a new ticket.

    Thanks!
