GuestHello,
I am planing on buying your WooTickets plugin for my wordpress website. I am hosting a show in august, in New York and we would like to sell tickets using your plugin. Some questions I’d like answered before I purchase:1 – Once set up, will the customers be paying directly to us? Do we have to or will they be charged any sort of fees (from you or PayPal or WooCommerce)?
2 – We would like to sell the tickets with individual seat numbers. Can this be entered into the system so it automatically sells seats that are available next to each other? For example, if I buy 5 seats, I would like them to be next to each other (for customer’s convenience).
Will look forward to your reply!
Please and thanks!

MemberHi – great questions!
1 – Once set up, will the customers be paying directly to us? Do we have to or will they be charged any sort of fees (from you or PayPal or WooCommerce)?
It’s totally depends on you and/or your payment service.
If for instance you accept direct bank transfers then it will potentially be free or perhaps there will be charges imposed by the sender’s bank and by your own bank. If you use PayPal, you will typically be charged a fixed amount plus a percentage per transaction (depending on the actual PayPal ‘product’ that you are using).
Neither we nor WooThemes (who produce WooCommerce) extract a transaction fee or anything like that, however.
2 – We would like to sell the tickets with individual seat numbers. Can this be entered into the system so it automatically sells seats that are available next to each other? For example, if I buy 5 seats, I would like them to be next to each other (for customer’s convenience).
That’s possible if you don’t mind doing some customization work (it is extremely plastic in the right hands and all sorts of customizations can be implemented) – but that sort of thing is not one of the plugin’s “out of the box” capabilities at this time, I’m afraid.
I hope that answers your questions – but please let me know if I can assist with anything else 🙂
