ParticipantI just did a test ticket sale and set the ticket stock at 150…Then once I went through a live payment, I checked the ticket report and it now says I sold 1 Ticket of a Stock of 151? Any reason why its adding instead of saying Sold 1 of a Stock of 150? I double checked to make sure it was 150 in the ticket stock.

MemberHi platinumblondes: can you confirm how you placed the test order?
If you did it through the WooCommerce orders screen (ie, in the admin environment) then this would be expected behaviour and nothing to worry about, at least not on a technical level: obviously however you might need to work around it somehow if it’s problematic for you.
If you placed the order as an ordinary customer would, be placing it in the cart and proceeding through checkout however, then that definitely wouldn’t be desirable. If that’s the case, can you confirm if this also affects ordinary WooCommerce products (if so, are you using any add-ons such as additional payment gateways – and are they impacting)?

ParticipantI went through a live checkout, setting prices at $0.01 and used both my admin e-mail and another e-mail…I then went into Google Incognito mode so I wasnt logged in and went through checkout again with another e-mail but it keeps adding on total number of tickets with each sale instead of saying 1 of 150 sold it would say 1 of 151 sold.

MemberRight – and does that also affect regular WooCommerce products (even those which are not tickets)?

ParticipantNever used WooCommerce products, just the ticketing portion, but I just went through a test on that and it doesnt seem to be taking one off the inventory as I sell a regular test product.

MemberIf I’m understanding you correctly then it sounds like there are issues with inventory even without WooCommerce Tickets, is that right?
Can you confirm if you have tried deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme and testing under those circumstances? It may even be worth taking things back to just WooCommerce itself and a default theme – and seeing if that works correctly – then adding our Modern Tribe plugins and confirming the same, before adding everything else back into the mix.

ParticipantTried the regular Twenty Thirteen WP theme, disabled all plugins except WooCommerce and WooTickets and went through completion of purchase of a regular WooCommerce product with no stock change showing on the front end (after clearing cache) and also went through a completed ticket sale but it just keeps adding +1 to the stock with each completed purchase.

ParticipantAlso want to add, that I just tried the WooCommerce without any other plugin and the Twenty Thirteen theme, created a new test product and went through the process of completing the transaction, then cleared browser cache and stock still hasnt changed.

MemberIn that case it is definitely sounding like an issue with WooCommerce itself (even if localized to your environment) and may well be worth taking up with the support team over at WooThemes – they’re the best folks to help with WooCommerce-specific issues.
Should you be using a particular payment gateway it may be worth experimenting to see if that impacts at all here.
