Ticket purchase just sends back to ticket page!!

Hello!

Not sure what I may have done wrong, but when a ticket is purchased the page just reloads back to the original ticket page.

Any help would be appreciated!

Howdy rgcoaching,

I am not 100% sure I understand you. Let me explain to you the usual flow, and then you can point out where things are not happening correct:

1. While visiting an event page with tickets available your customer selects a ticket, the amount of tickets, and  clicks add to cart.
2. Once your customer has added all the tickets or other products they want, they can click on WooCommerce’ Cart or Checkout links.
3. On the checkout pages they fill out their order details like credit card information. Finally they submit the order.
4. User is redirected to a thank you page. The admin and or the user gets an email.

Is this what is happening for you? If not, where to the steps deviate and what happens next? If you are interested in just diving into troubleshooting, something like 95% of the problems seen in WordPress are caused by two or more plugins conflicting, or somethings the theme and your plugins. This guide will help you test if something is conflicting. If something is, it then walks you through identifying what is conflicting. Once we know that we can work towards a fix.

Hey Brook!

Thank you SO much for your timely response! Before even sending this message I deactivated all my plugins (except those related to events calender) cleared my cache, changed themes, and still had the issue. Not to say I did an expert job at that, but I did my best! 🙂 In the “Order of Events” you listed I got step 1 problems! The customer selects the ticket, the amount of tickets, but when they click to add to cart, they are just redirected back to the ticket purchase page they started on!! NO shopping cart, no nothing?? Not sure if I have something configured wrong, or paypal gateway not working…not sure?

That could be it too! Thanks for the input mattkluga. Definitely worth double checking that you have added the woocom checkout and shopping cart pages, and they they are specified in WooCommerce settings. Please let us know if any of these tips worked. Cheers!
