Ticket Price for RSVP function still shows FREE – then the price.

When I did the update to the plugin the ticket price issue came back. I need it to show the price when there is a cost and free when it is free. I know I addressed this when it was in beta and a change was made. It reverted back with last update. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

We are sorry to hear about the cost showing as free issue you have been experiencing.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.

As you might know, displaying FREE for RSVP tickets is default behaviour since there is no field to define the price attached to it.

Most of our clients use our Events Tickets Plus premium plugin for paid (not free events) along side the free Events Tickets plugin. Being able to create several ticket types per event ensures exactly what you are looking for:

• show the price when there is a cost
• show free when it is free

That being said, you can totally control what is displayed for RSVP tickets by adding a snippet in your WordPress theme’s functions.php. My colleague George does an awesome job of explaining that here.
