ParticipantHi,
We have the tickets extension, we have created two different events how ever they both have the same ticket number prefix:
Event 1: Sleep Walk
Ticket num: SLEEPWALK-17-9ZNC21 – Sleep Walk: Over 16 yearsEvent 2: Ride for Rowcroft
SLEEPWALK-269-JPST4F – Launch Price – Classic Ride: Over 16 yearsAs you can see both have the same prefix, where and how is this set?
Our client might of duplicated one of the events to create the other one, could this have something to do with it?
Kind regards,
LukeJune 29, 2018 at 4:18 pm #1564901Brendan
KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support. When tickets are created they are stored as products and what you are seeing there are product Skus. You can change this by going into Products and edit the product in question by going into the Inventory tab.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi,
Thanks for the quick reply, I’ve had a look at the and the Woocommerce SKU are the end bits of what I have stated above for example: Launch Price – Classic Ride: Over 16 years, what I need to know is how are the unique codes at the beginning created i.e.: SLEEPWALK-269-JPST4F, because it is this bit that is using the other event name as part of the uniquely generated code.
I have included a screenshot of the way the SKU is different, in the attendees you can see it has the sleepwalk prefix even though the event is called Ride for Rowcroft, this is what the customer gets sent so our client is currently happy with this.
Kind regards,

KeymasterHi there,
The SKUs are usually autogenerated by Woocommerce. However, if you cloned an event or ticket, it may have cloned the advanced SKU field in the ticket screen. To see this option, Go to an event and click on edit for your ticket and then click Advanced to see where to set the SKU prefix manually.
Thanks,
