ParticipantHi,
I’m looking at creating additional fields in the check out process:
1. If multiple tickets are selected, I would like to capture each persons name attending.
2. Any allergies for each attending
3. Subscribe to Newsletter – tick box, or ideal direct integration with mailchimp. Can you advise if this is possible or where I could find documentation to follow?
Many thanks!

ParticipantHi Allison, this question was just asked twice today and surely will be answered soon by the exceptional Tribe forum staff.
(IMHO) That feature is often requested and certainly in the works according to Tribe staff forum replies.
Same question asked in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/registration-for-conferences/
Your subject line is more descriptive and I should have added my 2 cents here:
wootickets v 3.12 Was hoping that additional fields per event, per registrant would be here in this new release? Here’s the release notes, but I’m not sure what to do with it or if it’s just preparing for that feature to roll out soon?

ParticipantHowdy guys,
Thanks for filling in some of the blanks Th. You’re spot on, this is an oft requested feature and we’re hard at work on it. We have a number of exciting improvements to the Tickets Framework coming in our next version, and this numbers among them. Very soon we will be opening up a beta version of the “Tickets meta” features, you can sign up for it here.
In addition to collecting a person’s name and contact information when they checkout, you will be able to add extra fields such as “Do you have any allergies?” and “Would you like to subscribe to our newsletter”. So it sounds like the upcoming version will be exactly what you need Allison.
Do you guys have any other questions? I wish I could give you a release date, but we’re not quite there yet.
Cheers!

ParticipantThank you, for this. I kind of need this functionality on my site in order to launch it live. Is there any plugin or anyway around this that you know of that I can use in the mean time until the next version is ready?
Thanks,
Robyn

ParticipantHowdy Robyn,
Some folks have tried using WooCommerce plugins like this one to add checkout fields for tickets. From what I have heard one or two have found it met their needs. Further Eventbrite Tickets already offers very similar features, especially for registration type events. You might check both of those out.
Definitely let me know if you have any more questions.
