THIS WEEKS EVENT Widget is incorrectly linking to last date of recurring event

Hi I am experiencing problems with the “This Weeks Event” Widget. There are cases where you click on an event in the weekly list of events where the link is correct but a re-direct is fired and the event returned is the last event in the series of recurring events.

I have narrowed down the instances of this happening to PAST EVENTS in the current week and CURRENT DAY EVENTS of the current week. Events the following day to current day link correctly. However as soon as they become current day or past day they re-direct to last day of the recurring dates sequence.

I just went on your website and you are right, there seems to be some weird redirect going on.
Based on the nature of the issue and the system info you kindly provided, I have a couple of questions and suggestions to try to troubleshoot these issues.

1. Are the redirected events recurrent events ?
2. Do you have some type of caching going on at the web hosting level ? (since I do not see a caching plugin in your list)

<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Suggestions:</span>

• Please try flushing (re-saving them) your permalinks by going to settings > permalinks and hitting the “Save” button
• I am wondering if your redirect plugin is not interfering here. Can you please deactivate it and try removing any rules the plugin might have added to your .htaccess file ?
