This is for Nico…Was Pro Problem

I’m pretty sure it’s bbpress that causes the conflict with Pro to cause the customize edit panel to show the edit event link on white page, mentioned in the previous post.

I turned off all non essential plugins, except for the tribe suite and w3tc, maintenance mode, and anti-spam. And tested and worked fine. I added Soliloquy and its featured content add-on. Worked fine. Added Buddypress fine. Then added bbpress and it worked once (key point). So I then activated Mailchimp for WP and the conflict happened. Aha!

But, when I deactivated Mailchimp, it happened again. So I went back down the process to bbpress and deactivated it. and problem resolved and customize edit panel appears normally. I turned Mailchimp back and its OKs. But I turn bbpress on again and it works once, but not the second third or fourth time.

I further test by deactivating Pro, keeping bbpress on. Works fine. Turn pro back on and error occurs.

if you want to add to your computer host file so you can see for yourself let me know and I you can look at it later when sight is more live or I can send you the IP and domain names you can add to your computer host file.

Thanks for the detailed feedback on this. I’ll try to recreate that on my end first, if that’s not possible we can look into other options.

I couldn’t reproduce that on my end. But give me more time to look into it.

From what you are describing the error I should be looking for is: the link for “Customize” being ‘corrupted’ and when clicked instead of showing the Customizer it self, it shows the strange ‘edit event link on white page’. Am I right?

Have you tried the above described with ‘twentyfifteen’ theme or another one? In the later case can you re-try with ‘twentyfifteen’?
