ParticipantHey,
I was hoping somebody could provide some help, we are trying to theme the calendar to match our current site but have no idea where to start. I have tried using the different options under the settings tab but nothing seems to work.
The styling isn’t bad at all there are only a couple of thing which we want to change just to make it match and easier to read.
First things first the calendar link is: http://www.dance-a-cise.co.uk/?post_type=tribe_eventsOn that page you will see the top bar (where the filters are) is white, so is the find events button. This makes it very hard to read so would like to make the different sections darker.
This is the same on calendar entries where the event name is white and so is the day when you hover over it so you can no longer read it.On the actual events pages you can see that the section on the right is infact green which is totally different to our theme. Personally if its possible we would like the right hand pain to be the page.. and the other section which is currently the main part of the page to be removed.
I hope the above makes sense and thank you in advanced for any assistance!

ParticipantHey Janette,
Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to disappoint, but the core question here is one we cannot help with:
we are trying to theme the calendar to match our current site but have no idea where to start.
Themeing the calendar, modifying site styles, designing things to look how you want—these are all things outside the scope of support we can provide. You can read more about this policy here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
So, where to go from here? Well, for many of the style things you want to achieve, you can write custom CSS on your site. To write custom CSS on your site, definitely check out a [free!] tool like Firebug if you use FireFox, or the Developer Tools for either Safari or Chrome. They have “Inspector” tools that let you zoom right over the element whose styles you want to change, so you can see what specific changes to make. It’s a huge help.
If you don’t feel comfortable making such changes yourself, then your best bet is to hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Thank you,

ParticipantThank you very much for your reply George. I’ve taken a look into it and it all seems pretty simple. I was wondering where the CSS files are. Do you happen to have a file which states which colours do what sections? I have get rough idea from the notes in the document but its very vague.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks for your help so far and going forward.

ParticipantHey Janette,
Thanks for your followup. To find all of the CSS that our plugin generates, head into the plugin files directly and look for any file that ends with the “.css” file extension. They’re all there! 🙂 There is unfortunately NOT one master file with all color-related stuff; there are many files, and you will need to use your code editor’s “Find” and “Search” tools to look for instance of CSS rules like “color:” and “background-color:” and all of that.
Best of luck with your tinkering!
