The widget of Events Calender can't be customized in theme option.

Hi,

I want to add a widget of event calender in my footer to show up my event information. However, i discover i can’t click the drop down menu of the widget to do any customization. How can i fix this problem.

Actually, what you are describing is normal behaviour.

To customize the widget’s content, you need to do so under Appearance > Widgets

If, on the other hand you want to customize the look of things, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:
